HERMITS ROWING CAMP

Lake Lenape is still undergoing a Dock Renovation—we’re currently exploring dates for summer 2024.

Families interested in Rowing opportunities for this summer are asked to email Coach D’Amico (mr.damico@hermits.com) for info on the Viking rowing club chicken dippers program!

The camp is designed to help campers prepare for High School rowing.  Emphasis will be placed on rowing technique, training, and learning the team work involved in making a boat go fast.  The camp is designed to be informative in a fun and relaxing atmosphere. Novice and experienced rowers will benefit from this camp.  

The camp will consist of rowing in eight men shells, learning to scull in recreational shells, and training on the rowing machines.  Friday campers will finish out week with a mini regatta and BBQ!
