Power and Motion Lab: Innovate, Build, and Energize the Future

date: July 21-24, 2025

Cost: $250

Lunch Included!

Age Group: Boys and Girls Entering 6th, 7th & 8th

Time: 9 am-1 pm

Students will combine engineering, physics, and renewable energy concepts as they focus on the design, prototyping, and construction of either a vehicle or an energy-generating device. The course blends mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering with hands-on fabrication and problem-solving.

Students will work in teams to conceptualize, design, and build a functional prototype of either a transportation vehicle (e.g., solar-powered car, off-road rover, electric bike) or an energy-harnessing system (e.g., wind turbine, hydroelectric generator, pedal-powered generator). The class will cover engineering principles, sustainable design, materials selection, prototyping, and testing.
